The Alexandra Marine and General Hospital Laboratory provides services to Emergency and inpatients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and to clinics and outpatients. Daytime hours during the week are from 0800 – 1100.

Specimens may be dropped off between 08:00am and 3:00 pm.

Booking an Appointment
No appointment is necessary except for glucose tolerance testing and fertility testing. A requisition is required from an authorized Heath Practitioner. An updated OHIP card is required for all services. Please register at the Communications desk at emergency entrance if you are a new patient.
