The hospital will provide the necessary medications while you are in the hospital.  Since it is necessary that the physicians and nurses know your current medications, you are encouraged to bring medications, which you are taking at home, to the hospital with you and present them to the nurse.  These will be identified and returned to you or a family member, to take home.
