The Information Services Department is responsible for the technology needs of the Hospital.
Services provided include the day to day installation, operation and support of all computer hardware and software, printers, servers and other network equipment, as well as management and maintenance of the hospital’s health information systems. The department collaborates with other hospital departments in the assessment, planning, acquisition and implementation of new information technology initiatives. The department is also responsible for telecommunication needs for the organization. The IT Department provides end users with help desk support and ensures that downtime of any equipment is kept to a minimum.
