Purpose:
To provide a forum for elective communications with Representation from nursing, medicine, pharmacy, Hospital administration and any interested parties with regards to palliative care.
Goals:
To provide a reference group utilizing the CAPCE nurses, Physicians and Pharmacy for issues related to palliative care.
To provide education to nursing staff, medical staff with regards to palliative care.
To provide a forum to facilitate and standardize policies and procedures.
To share educational information .
To provide case studies of how to improve palliative care to our clients. To discuss what works and what doesn't.
To increase awareness of palliative care in both our Hospital and Community setting.
Reporting Relationship:
Provide minutes of all meetings to all Palliative committee members and make available to AMGH staff to read.

The Palliative Committee is comprised of representatives as follows:
